Research associate

A research associate has the role to study live market data, and commodities market trends, planning and conducting research into various investment sectors, industries, companies, economies, and markets.

Those into equity research may have to work in capital markets for more than two years to climb vertically to become senior analysts, who are employed by institutions, banks, and asset management companies, where they need to provide data to the decision-makers to be used to determine future buy trends and forecast growth. 

They may have to submit written research or published research paper into an appropriate financial model, which is used to design trading strategies. They need to provide time-sensitive information where they gather data from multiple sources and organize and draft the outlines.

They may have to socialize to gather information about the global stock markets, a product or some sectors. They need to hold client meetings and should have intersocial abilities.
