Austria's Wienerberger agrees to buy British roofing firm BPD

VIENNA (Reuters) - Austrian building materials firm Wienerberger, the world's biggest brickmaker, has agreed to buy British roofing company Building Product Design Group for an undisclosed amount, Wienerberger said on Monday.BPD has more than 200 employees and two production sites in Nottinghamshire and South Wales, a fraction of Wienerberger's 14 plants and 1,400 staff in Britain.
