THOOTHUKUDI: Signalling potential for an archaeological expedition, antiques collected from Pattinamaruthur village near Tharuvaikulam along the east coast of Thoothukudi indicates existence of a vibrant trade centre at par with Korkai on the banks of Thamirabarani River.
